Peachy Keen Olive Oil Soap Recipe

This recipe incorporates olive oil along with a bit of Pourette red soap color (about the size of this capital "O") combines with the natural yellow beeswax to equal a beautiful peach-colored soap. Dissolve the coloring in the flavoring oil. Use only peach flavoring oil for this recipe and not the more familiar peach flavoring extract, which contains too much alcohol.

2.4 ounce lye
1 cup cold water

Pollen Pleasure Olive Oil Soap

Protein rich pollen provides gentle scrubbing grains and a natural honey color to this unusual soap.

About thirty minutes before you mix this sap, combine the fragrant oils and pollen so the pollen has time to soften. Some granules dissolve, while a few remain whole to add color and interesting texture to your Pollen Pleause!

9 ounces shortening
4 ounces coconut oil
3 ounces lard
1/4 ounce beeswax

2.4 ounces lye
3/4 cup cold water

Optional Ingredients:
1 tablespoon natural bee pollen
1 teaspoon honey (added to the lye-water)
